New Year 7 Parents Information
Applications for Secondary School Places for Current Year 6 Pupils
The new secondary school admission round opened on Thursday, 12 September 2019, for parents of current Year 6 children to apply for a secondary school (Year 7) place for September 2020.
Applications can be made online via www.essex.gov.uk/admissions which also contains key points in the process and a copy of the Secondary Education in Essex 2020-21 booklet.
The statutory national closing date for applications is 31st October 2019.
Offers of places will be sent from Admissions at Essex County Council on 1st March 2019.
From 2 March 2020, if you applied online, you can log into your account to see your allocation.
For Pupils Who Have Been Successful in Securing A Place at Here At Stewards Academy
After you have been notified by Essex you will receive a welcome letter from Stewards Academy with information on future events such as Primary School Transition Visits, the New Parents Evening and Taster Days which we hope will support the transition from Primary to Secondary Education.
