Character & Culture
Central to our philosophy at Stewards Academy, is our work to develop pupils as ‘whole individuals’, and our belief that education is not about academic success alone.
Our goal is to equip our pupils with a wealth of personal and social skills to enable them to successfully navigate 21st century life, as citizens who contribute to society as a whole.
In the coming year, we will focus on our ethos of safe, fulfilling and purposeful lives. Through our work in assemblies, with form representatives, student council, peer mentors, prefects and the EMPV group, we will promote a ‘mind to be kind’ culture, and embed the principles of kindness, respect and living without harm.
Alongside this, we will work closely with the pastoral and academic teams to ensure that pupil expectations are met, the 5Rs are maintained, and to support pupils on their journey to success.
This is a new venture for Stewards Academy, and we are very excited about our work with pupils and staff over the coming year.
