Top Tips for successful study

  • Set yourself manageable goals
  • Work in a comfortable place
  • If you want background music go for something quiet and classical, avoid songs as the vocals are distracting
  • Ensure you have sufficient light to work
  • Take regular breaks
  • Reward yourself during and after study periods
  • Have something on hand to eat and drink
  • Some people work well with background music
  • Check progress regularly, test yourself or work with a friend
  • Ask for help when you need it
