KS4
The Programme of study builds on the progress of students during KS3. At Stewards pupils follow the Edexcel modular course.
The course is divided into 3 modules.
- Unit 1 – Data Handling – 20% - November of year 10
- Unit 2 – Number, Algebra and Shape, space & measure – 30% - June of year 10
- Unit 3 – Number, Algebra and Shape, space & measure – 50% - June of year 11
With each module students are assessed on their mathematical skills, their ability to apply these to real-life situations and their problem solving skills.
In addition to the GCSE course, some pupils will complete an Entry Level qualification to compliment their studies.
